Likewise.

SMU should not be courting controversial partisan politicians.

Although maybe it would make morons like you buy a ticket.

No it's called don't throw a hand grenade in the room just to try and [deleted] a bunch of people off. If you don't like him, fine. If you don't want him there, awesome. If you don't think the library is good for the school, more power to you. Say it in those terms don't try and rile up a bunch of opinionated conservatives by calling him a coked-out draft dodger. It's not about trying to be the biggest flipping instigator because you don't agree with something.

Funny, any time there's a big game at LSU, whatever network is showing the game runs out THE most partisan politician perhaps in the south (Carville). I for one think it's amusing.

As for Bush, I for one didnt agree with all of his policies, nor do I agree with all of the policies of Obama. My opinion is there is a certain level of esteem and respect that is reserved for all holders of the highest, most demanding position in the land.

I have been wondering about that as well. I would think so. I bet most people do not realize this and the stadium is 90 % empty at kickoff as a result

I don't think former Presidents require quite the same security precautions. It should not be that bad. I am looking forward to seeing Dubya! Hope he makes a Boulevard appearance. George, Come have some Venison Chili at my Vard spot.

you know, if ever there were a couple of party girls who should be seen in white sundresses (even after Labor Day) on the Blvd, it's the Bush girls. Yeah I know one of 'ems married now.

Cmon W, throw back a few with us on the Blvd!

News flash...it usually is anyway.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
