I thought that they were skull and cross bones at first, thanks. Maybe horseshoes would be more appropriate, but your right they look unique, and stand for something.

Was this not discussed before? Surprised it hasn't come up, or I just missed it. Would prefer something SMU themed but I've got no problem with them using these if that's what they want.

Who gives a damn? I dont care if they put Rainbow-Brite stickers on their helmets as long as we keep winning. What ever June is doing, it is working. Quit concentrating on all the wrong details.

Mustangs don't wear horseshoes.
Seems like somebody said that it's a trademark symbol for Jones's charity.
