GSP is the one that mention it in his thread couch. Also Hoop Fan, I hear what you are saying about the kneel down. I do not care for that either, especially if they have riders on them.

Well, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in baseball in 1947 and I don't remember all of his Brooklyn Dodger teammates being on board with this move. In fact, there was petition started by Bobby Bragan and a couple of others to try and get him off the team. Plus, that was a conference event. I'm talking about SMU only traditions -- and you knew that anyway. Stay on point with SMU traditions.

It was a school by school tradition and I am on point. And like I said LeVias was not treated to well on his own campus as well. In fact, one of the perceptions people have of SMU today is that we are negative towards minorities. I am not on board with all the detail of the halftime, but I am not against the horses themselves.

WTF?
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Anybody who confuses blatant societal racism with tradition is one [deleted] up individual.

Then someone brainwashed that idea into your head. How do you think LeVias would have been treated if he was as Arkansas, Texas, TCU or Baylor? You don't know and neither do I. But I can you tell that it doesn't matter that if you're Jackie Robinson or Jerry LeVias, when you are the first one to make a serious change in the culture like these two did, you're going to endure a helluva lot more than the ones that follow you. Why do they make a big deal about Jackie Robinson than Larry Doby, who was the first black player in the American League? Jackie was the first one. Pretty simple.

Let me see if I can clear this up for you with simple crayon drawings.
Tradition = Good
Racism = Bad

If the racism is part of the tradition it is bad you stupid idiot. I am through with that. GSP brought it up anyway. I just hope the riders get back to OSU as soon as possible.

If they get rid of the riders they will have to get rid of the horses. There is no way we can attempt to have individuals attempting to run next to these horses.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

This was about SMU traditions of which Peruna is a part. But of course, we have to expand the focus into something that doesn't pertain to the discussion.
And you never answered the question about specific SMU traditions that needed to go. I guess that means you couldn't come up with any. If you're going to say something like what you said earlier, then back it up!

Look I am not thrilled about all that is happening at halftime either, but I am not going to continue to cry about it like a little girl.
