Interesting the number of comments that we have either the best talent in the conference or the 2nd best, but the "Demented" factor keeps us from being the factor we should be.

I thought this was a closely held secret of ours only. I guess others are noticing.

With our new found fondness for playing defense we may be the most dangerous team in the WAC.

There are several teams that could win it but TU at home has to be the new favorite.

We have been playing some great defense lately, esp. that 1-3-1 that keeps tripping people up. I'm glad Dement can teach SOME form of the zone defense.

I guess everyone else knows how "demented" Coach Dement really is, eh? I really hope we can make a run at this tourney title. If we win at La Tech, I think some in the conference may be a tad scared of us

Dement got away with the 1-3-1 against Boise and UTEP--2 absolutely terrible outside shooting teams. He will have to go to man in the final against Tulsa.

I have been saying for several weeks that we will win the WAC tournament. With Fresno out our chances become even greater. We can get a first or second seed, but realistically a 3 is probably more likely. The way I see it SMU, Tulsa and Nevada have the best chances. Should be a good tournament. With a little luck we can pull it off.
