I agree somewhat, but the coaches can only do so much... as players you are expected to execute regardless of what play is called... I still am no sold on MR BLM
I agree that he has to lead this team, but how is it on him, other than him being the QB and so goes the glory and the blame. Care to elaborate on this game? What about the FG to go up in OT?

Fiji, Bo & Co? How about just Co this time. If the FG was made, we would still be playing. What about the drive to tie the game. Dude you don't know [deleted]. Go drink your beers as I am sure you are a master at that. Punk!
Yea, I obviously don't know squat. If Bo hadn't overthrown at least 8-10 balls to open receivers, we'd be in better shape, and wouldn't need OT. He didn't play a perfect game, but neither did anyone else. The TEAM lost, Bo included. I wasn't trying to single him out, I just thought "Bo & Co." had a nice ring to it. Sounds like you've been hitting the hooch a little hard there yourself. Thanks for the kind words and have a good night.

I didnt mean that he only person to blame. That missed FG is not acceptable by any stretch... I am just not convinced that he makes good decisions often enough. He has been playing better the last couple weeks, but I still havent bought into him fully

losing Fleps really hurt tonight. The FR LB lost contain on a couple of critical plays that allowed Navy to gain momentum.
we could be 5-1 right now and we are still 2-0 in CUSA. Who predicted that? They are certainly looking better than I thought they would.
I think this team has a chance to win every game on the schedule.
looking forward to playing another RANKED team next week.

I can appreciate the fact you expect perfection, but that is not realistic. Look at the stats of all the top tier QB's today and I would bet not a one went 100%. Even those that played lower tiered teams. SMU is making great strides on both sides of the ball and Special Teams improved tonight. We have something good here. Great, not yet, but good. Great will come when the program, and the fans, turn around.

BLM missed some open deep balls tonight and was off target quite a bit (without being pressured) but he did not turn the ball over and that is a huge improvement. we will have a chance to win every game on the remaining schedule if we don't turn the ball over

I'm not trying to be a downer on the team. To be honest, I didn't think we had much of a shot against these guys before the game started. I was very impressed with this effort for the most part, but it always hurts to lose like that. Let's stick it to Houston next week.

I really think the defense has been the key to our improvement this year and the key to the defensive improvement has been the play of the DL. My concern is our lack of depth and it looked like Parham and Frazier were both dinged up at the end of this game. Hope they are ready to go and can hold up for the rest of this season.

Totally agree. Houston will be our ugliest game of the year. If DL is dinged up, just save them and get guys healthy for Tulsa game.

we've played pretty well against Houston the past several years. I expect these guys to bounce back...for many of them, it will be like going home. I do want to hear the injury report though. Had some guys dinged up tonight.
