Give the coaching staff some credit. We went into NAVY last year and got run over. Teams looks much improved and the proof is in the record and stats.
I am pissed about the loss, but guys, how quickly we forget the 0-12 and the 1-11 records.
Thanks for making this a game.
PLEASE win one of our next two.

Yeah, but I am getting tired of moral victories. It's disappointing that we were in a position to win 2 of our 3 losses, and we just can't put it away. Yes, our team is much improved from last year (well, our defense is for sure), but when are we going to put together a game where we are solid for all 4 quarters?
On a different note, we are horrific at OT. When was the last time we won a game in OT?

my god, it was a slightly above average Navy team, not Florida or USC and we had enough weapons to win. There is a decent chance that JJ wont find better talent than Sanders and McNeil and will have to put up or shut up with these guys and get it done. Bad loss. Recruiting wont improve drastically until we nut up and get over the hump a bit first and that means a bowl game in the age of 50 bowls.

by the way, defense it playing hard and overachieving no doubt. But our offense is not improved and is in fact not as good as the rusty burns offenses of 2006 and 2007. Its just not.

Yeah, whatever. Navy is one of the top 3 teams on our schedule. Like everybody, I'm bent out of shape about the loss, and maybe it's because I attended the Navy fiasco last year, but if you can't see improvement, I don't know what to tell you. People should be jumping around like drunk birthday party clowns about SMU's performance tonight. I'm still having trouble believing it. 2-0 in conference until we hear otherwise

sorry, had plenty of weapons and opportunities to put Navy away tonight. Don't know if they didnt come to play or something, but we had the weapons and a step on them.

Navy almost beat Ohio State. I agree we missed a bunch of opportunties. So did Navy. My wife cheered loudly in the bar because she thought they missed the FG in OT, and I had to tell her, which was painful. But I remain optimistic about our chances against the remainder of the CUSA schedule

Last year SMU had no clue how to stop Navy. This year SMU had a much better scheme - it was a matter of Navy executing in the clutch,
