This one isn't on Bo. I like the fact that he isn't forcing it when his guys are covered.

What happend on the intentional grounding? I thought he was out of the pocket when he threw it away.

The offsides on 4th down was horrible. Navy wasn't going to snap that ball and he gave them what they wanted.

Gutless playcalling and poor officiating screwed this one.

There was no intentional grounding. They picked up the flag. Throwing the flag was ridiculous. He was near the sideline and threw it ob twenty yards down the field . It was a good play.

Yes, they did pick up the flag.

Actually, that TD drive Mitchell led at the end of the game to force the OT was pretty impressive. He was very cool and converted some tough third down situations.

Mitchell avoided throwing INTs, and didn't try to do too much for the most part. Exactly what we should be asking him to do. I think we had more yards rushing than passing until the 4th quarter. This isn't a Run 'n Shoot, but it is all we're going to get until we upgrade on QB. This loss is spread around to the whole team, not one individual.

I mean come on...June...why are we paying you 2M a year to come so close and have this gunslinging head case screw it all up for you AND us.

Actually the dinking or going for the fences option was messed up when we were backed up to the
goal line in the 4th quarter :!: We need a first down to get out of the HOLE, and he goes
LONG(odds) multiple plays :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Guess they haven't got to the situational awareness chapters yet :?:
May the forth be with us.

Those play calls are direct from JJ as BLM goes to him for every play at the sideline and probably has not too much 'lei way'.....

It seemed to me that we gave up on the running game, which had been very good for us tonight.

I think we often give up on the running game to "step on the opponent's neck" but it ends up screwing us.

19-41 with guys open all night and a lot of time to throw isn't a good performance in this offense. It's time to give Smith a look-or atleast a series or 2.

The drive in the fourth to tie the game was a heck of a drive.

Hopefully, BLM moves from "not losing games" to "winning games" pretty soon.

I woudl not be surprised to see Padron given some time if BLM doesn't click in the next two weeks. Next year, there will be a three way competition at QB, and Padron will be able to take a redshirt then. So, it is okay to burn it this season if necessary.

The post game comments by Jones, in my opinion, kind of indicated that BLM is at the end of his leash. The more Padron gets ready, the more chance there is for competition. Up to now, there is no one on the bench capable of running the full offense.

Very true, he had ALL day to throw last night. Great protection and he didn't take full advantage of that...

When you score 35 points you should win. Defense not stopping Navy on crucial thirds downs in the fourth quarter was the turning point tonight.. I will not blame a loss on the officials, but the interference call on the defense with a third and 17 was a killer. I thought that was an awful call.
