yeah, you know before the game he was telling his buddies "dude...watch...I'm gonna say someone's giving him the business.." He borrowed that from the originator, an NFL official...Red somebody? I want to say Cashion was/is his last name, not sure.

Thanks, I guess the reason I didn't know that is cause I don't watch pro football :D

Without having seen it in replay, it looked to me like the Navy WR had a handful on jersey as well.

OK, if you want to give them the pass interference flag that was called on us (which still should not have been called), then there is zero justification for them not throwing a flag on the next drive when Aldrick Robinson was decked once and then mugged/held all the way down the field on consecutive plays. Get that first down, and the drive and perhaps the game come out differently.
I really shouldn't drink and type.

Not pass interference-legs got crossed up which is not pass interference

I don't think the refs lost us the game, as I think more of it is on our offense and our offensive staff. However, fact is 1 ref had a son who went to Navy and 1 ref was a former Marine.

As much as Dennis was mauling that receiver, it would be impossible not to call PI. Dennis was just plain stupid on that play. He could have gotten away with it with one chuck of the receiver but to have his hands all over the guy for a solid ten yards just begs for a flag.

I didn't think the officiating was all that bad. It didn't make a difference in the game. Dennis mauling the receiver was the right call and nobody can blame the refs for the 4th down offside.

I didn't see the play except that the pass was uncatchable. Defensive holding is still an automatic first down. Bad decision by Dennis there.

The call on Rock was 50-50. They were both hand checking each other the entire way down the field. The only call the ref could have made would have been holding. There is no way that can be pass interference when the ball lands that far out of bounds.

On the follow-up series from the Mustangs. I think Jones had it in his mind that we were due a makeup call, hence the two long balls to Aldrick. I can agree with the first one being a no call because their feet got tangled, but the second one was definitely interference. From the visitors side you could clearly see him holding Aldrick back with an arm bar, which is why he was slowed down and couldn't get his right arm up.

I think the PI call on Rock was the play that decided the game. Without that call they don't score on that drive, and they would have been punting from their own endzone. A couple of more slip draw to Shawnberry and we were definitely in field goal range.

The intentional grounding call was inexcusably bad. I know it was waved off, but the ref that threw the flag in the first place should be embarrassed.
