I was absolutely certain you would be streaking the field at half time covered only in a Peruna t-shirt guns a blazing followed by an enormous entourage.

I know I have my faults and my critics but I'm very disappointed by the tone of this post on a thread that was devoted to what I considered a very special moment at the statement. I'm not going to participate in this. I just hope the author would re-consider and edit this remark or speak of the great sportsmanship that was on display.

Great comments by all about what that moment meant to them, except for this one.[/quote]

You can’t have it both ways sir!

Again, I really felt moved by what I saw from the Navy players and what they did. You don't see that often. And we should see more of it. I hope that's something we do as a program moving forward. I would rather our program be known for something of that than anything negative. Very proud of our players doing something like this.

Please watch this video of how Army and Navy stand for each other's alma maters. If this doesn't move you, then nothing will.

Now, I understand what you were talking about last week. This looks to be something that Navy -- I would assume the other academies do the same thing -- does for every opponent it plays.

Learn something new. What a great thing to fully appreciate. I get chills when I even watched that. That's sportsmanship at its best.

Absolutely - this is absolutely a wonderful show of sportsmanship and in my opinion, we should adopt this for every game.
