Emanuel SandersSanders is not getting the ball enough. He is so explosive that they need to get him even more involved. Players like him don't come around enough.
Re: Emanuel Sandershe wasn't open on a lot of plays. They made it clear that their objective was to shut him down.
Re: Emanuel Sandersthey are trying to take Sanders out of the game, We need the other receivers to consistently make some big plays.

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Emanuel SandersThe biggest problem as the announcer quit calling him Emilio. We had him hidden until then. When he started calling him Emanuel, the double coverage came.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Emanuel SandersWilkerson is open 24/7. He couldn't be further away from Navy defensive backs if he was on the pom squad.
We've never lost the tailgate.
Re: Emanuel SandersWilkerson seems to get lazy and quit running his routes. He needs to step it up bigtime.
Re: Emanuel SandersIs it just me or are receivers shaking their heads out there on the field at times? The body language says to me they don't believe in Bo. Not condoning the head shaking because they shouldn't do it, but ES must be wondering 'what could have been' in this his senior season.

Re: Emanuel Sanders
no doubt. Then they come to the sidelines and at times voice whatever to JJ, and it looks like JJ doesn't want to hear it. Of course, it is a prerequisite to say 'man I was open!' after every play if you are a WR.
Re: Emanuel SandersI've witnessed receivers doing this, and commented about AR specifically after the TCU game. It is understandable that they would be frustrated at working their tail off to get open, only to watch BLM not even look at them and try to force it elsewhere.
The receivers probably have the same thoughts about BLM as we do. "I think Couchem is right."

Re: Emanuel SandersI didnt see a whole lot of them open in the second half on saturday
Re: Emanuel Sanders
Navy's defense was very disiplined and stayed on their assignements most of the game very well and paud special attention to Saunders for certain, but it seems apparant that JJ has dumbed down the offense for BLM. BLM checks off/head fakes one reciever most every time to freeze the defense and then goes to who he has been assigned to throw to. It's not that he doesn't have the time to look around for other recievers as the O line is doing a great job of protection and gets better every week.
Re: Emanuel Sanders
That tactic is only going to work for so long. Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: Emanuel SandersEvidently, Bennets staff did a better job coaching receivers than the present staff. The guys have the talent but something is missing. ES is bigtime but in this offense you should have 4-8 receivers playing important roles. If one guy is not producing, get the next guy in and so on and so on. Don't play favorites because it is a guy you personally recruited or because he is fast or because he is short or because he laughs at your jokes in meetings or he fits your stereotypes. Play the guys who play hard, practice hard, don't make stupid mistakes, catch the ball and are TEAM FIRST. In other words, do you want Terrell Owens or Wes Welker. I want the winner!
