Chances versus HoustonAccording to computer simulations at Fox sports, we are one of the least likely teams in college football to win this week:

Re: Chances versus Houstonthat's what the point spread would suggest...but that's why the coaches say "we'll show up"
Re: Chances versus HoustonI am betting UTEP's "chances" were similar.

Re: Chances versus HoustonHouston is going down. Hey honey give me another shot of that yeager
Re: Chances versus Houston
On that note, I am going down to the bar! I need to get my courage up for the Houston game. Starting early! Mustangs Abu!
Re: Chances versus HoustonI won't be shocked. Yes, UTEP was at home but they had just been blown out at UT. SMU has played close all year.
I think the difference will be our run offense and short game.
Re: Chances versus Houston
I agree that our run offense could be the key. Time of possession is key for us and we have to hope the the coogs are a little over confident. A couple of quick scores and we will be there at the end. Again.
Re: Chances versus Houstonmy concern is that we haven't faced a QB this season that could exploit some of the weaknesses that we all thought were problems before the season. Basically, can our back 8 play well in space. So far from what we've seen they have passed the test they have faced so far and exceeded expectations. New test this week-i don't think anyone can really claim we've faced a strong passing QB unless it was the Division 1AA kid.

Re: Chances versus HoustonNCAA Passing Statistics;
The only 2 QBs we've faced that were in the Top 100 are No. 44 Patrick Pickney of ECU and No. 64. Andy Dalton of TCU. Neither inspires great fear in passing game. This week we face the No. 1 QB in Country http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/natlRank.jsp?y ... =IA&dest=O Last edited by Stallion on Tue Oct 20, 2009 10:35 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Re: Chances versus Houstonwe will win.
Re: Chances versus Houston
I agree with your comment but it only takes 1 good hit on a qb to upset the rhythm of a game. Sent from my KOREAN knockoff using Tapdance 5
