* SMU doesnt have that many students to begin with.
* Parking already isn't that bad; I don't think I've ever paid to park nor walked more than 2 blocks
* Concessions suck and are pretty much mismanaged; definitely room for improvement there

I agree with 2 of your comments but I think the parking situation sucks. No signage or direction on where you can or cannot park. I don't think I have ever found a parking spot that was less than a 15 minute walk to the stadium. Maybe I just don't know the secret spots...

At the TCU game this year, we had to park so far away, we were in another zip code.

So how many seats does the stadium hold and how many parking stalls are available?

When was the last time that SMU sold out the stadium?

Maybe that is why they are trying to bring in the geldings?

Better recruiting and marketing.

Any changes to improve recruiting and drawing more fans should be supported by all of you long time fans.

If you want a successfull program, be a part of the answer and not a part of the problem.

Ya'll ain't Texas and ya'll have a 20 year losing program. The worst in NCAA history.

You are all great fans. Better than most under the surcumstances. If ya'll are SMU fans, what do ya'll think?

After 20 years of a losing tradition, would it be worth it to take a chance and create a new winning tradition?

I liked the black on black uniforms that JJ made for Hawaii. It was the best in NCAA football but the players liked it and it improved recruiting. Hawaii and JJ had not multi million dollars to improve the program but they went to the Sugar Bowl.

So, can SMU buy a Sugar Bowl or a CUSA championship?

It comes to this. Can SMU compete in CUSA and dominate by winning alone???

Our place holds 32k. It is designed to be expandable to 45k without much work. It was officially "sold out" the first game this year, courtesy of a lot of corporations and individuals (including a few of us on the board) buying and giving away tickets. Other sellouts were vs. Texas Tech. The only time it's truly been sold out and pro-SMU in the way you'd envision an idyllic setting was its inaugural game vs Kansas almost a decade ago.

Yep, sucks to lose for so long. Especially for those that remember the winningest team in D1 for the first 6 years of the 80s.

Dallas is a bandwagon jumper, I could see us drawing 25k regularly when we win.

CUSA championship is doable. Sugar not so much, I don't think.

As for better "marketing," we've been without a true marketing dept for the last several months. Economy.
