Lance took over with an all senior line in front of him. the offense transformed from a throwing offense to a running offense in one week. He had all american caliber backs supporting him. He was asked to hand the ball off and not make mistakes.

Saturday, with an offense that depends on a throwing QB will not be the same.

Yes, one can hope but our talent in 1980 adjusted to an entirely different offense in one week (a remarkable accomplishment) that took an entire offensive team. This Saturday still depends on an offense that is wholly dependent on its QB.
