The SMU Mustangs and Tulsa Golden Hurricane square off Saturday at 1 p.m. in a game that can be seen live in Dallas on Channel 33 and can be heard on KTCK (1310 AM).
When the teams met a year ago, SMU almost pulled off what would have been a considerable upset as the Mustangs struggled through a 1-11 season under their new coaching staff. But despite the loss, the Ponies retain a 10-6 record in the all-time series between the teams.
Tulsa has undergone several personnel changes, not the least of which is the installation of G.J. Kinne as the team's starting quarterback, and the emergence of tiny Damaris Johnson as one of the most lethal offensive weapons in Conference USA.
