Sounds like a good QB prospect to start with.

Lincoln beats Thomas Jefferson in President's Bowl Thursday Nite 73-0. Surprising Don Canyon didn't have many stats-probably didn'y play 2nd Half.Canyon was 3-6 for 33 yards 0 TDs and 0 Ints. and had 3 carries for 29 yards including TD runs of 16 and 3 yards.

They probably had 70 by halftime and could have racked up at least 100, if they had desired.

Lincoln lost a heartbreaker to Liberty 43-42 in Double Overtime when Liberty scored and then went for 2 and converted. Apparently a valiant effort by Don Canyon with 4 TDs including converting on both Overtime drives with Canyon TD runs of 25 and 3. Tough way to lose. Canyon scored 4 TDs in all.

Coach o-line at Liberty HS in Frisco who thankfully beat Lincoln last night. Canyon is an absolute beast! Don't know about him playing QB though. Did a good job last night but our secondary leaves a lot to be desired. Throws the ball like a shot put causing the ball to hang in the air for what seems an eternity. Don't think he has a real chance to play QB in this system but there are PLENTY of other options. This kid is awesome and I am very excited that he is coming to SMU. Put his big body at an outside WR and a lot of special things could happen.

I was just watching some highlites on Scout and everytime I see him I think he's at least 6-3 1/2. What do you think after seeing him up close and personal. I think SMU is planning to use him at DE.
