Whoever said that starters don't lose their jobs due to injury should tell that to Drew Bledsoe.

all the stats dont mean anything JJ is goin to play who he thinks is the qb that gives SMU the best chance to win. when BLM is 100% then we will see who JJ thinks should play.

Statistics do mean something. They are used to make the abilities of players known. Your desire to cling to BM and claim that statistics are irrelevant give away your agenda. Only a BM supporter could say statistics do not matter, what as his statistics reveal his poor performances.

For all of your trust in June Jones now, will you call him a fool when he starts Padron?

comparing Bos first games stats to kyles is ridiculous and irrelevent. yes im not hiding that im a bo supporter bc i know hes the best qb on the team hands down, if he wasnt then JJ wouldnt have him out there ... to think that JJ would play a qb that doesnt give him the best chance to win is asinine!!!if that QB is Padron then we will all find out very shortly but dont be mad and throw a fit when BLM comes back healthy and remains the starter. i know if i were Bo i would take all these ridiculous statements and put downs personally and do everything i could to prove you all wrong. what kind of fans turn thier back on their starting QB so quickly....

Fans that got all that preseason hype from those, including BLM, that made us think that our offense was going to be much improved this year. Fans that experienced 10 interception this year on top of 24 from last season. BLM plays just a little better and we win those two OT losses and this is not a discussion.

How dare you lecture me on what it means to be a fan! I have watched this team lose for 20 years, and you have just jumped on to support your son/boyfriend/brother. Unless your son/boyfriend/brother is the Christian God, do not expect him to rise from the grave that he put himself in.

As for insults that have been directed at BM, if they make him better, then that is good. But for a year and a half that has not worked, so do not waste your time hoping.

You are blind, and I will not discuss this with you anymore. You have an agenda that will not allow you to approach the subject with rationality, seen in the relationship you admit to having and that you did not watch the contest against Tulsa (presumably because your son/boyfriend/brother was not playing).

Which NAIA message board will you be posting on in the future?

Troy Aikman was injured and lost his starting position. That is why he transferred to UCLA.

According to down n out, perhaps. It is, however, a very prominent example that proves the idea that starters do not lose their jobs to injuries to be false.

i didnt lecture you on anything about what it means to be a fan...i simply asked what kind of fan turns thier back so quickly after an injury?? you blame all the losses on Mitchell but none of the wins ... how does that work? i dont care how long you've been a fan of SMU doesnt make your opinion any better or smarter than mine. clearly you have an agenda or you wouldnt be taking this so personally. i didnt see the tulsa game because it wasnt on tv where i live not because mitchell wasnt playing. i want to see this team win and this program to turn around just as much as anybody because right now were a laughing stock in the college football world and alot of it is because our fans put down our OWN players more than the opponent. its embarrassing!

The "hook" was coming regardless of injury. You could see and hear JJ's frustration and his willingness to discard the "redshirt" almost three weeks ago. Maybe this will be a wakeup call for Bo, maybe not. Maybe we just have a new starter at qb.
