Re: NBA Draft
That would be great though Q will be fighting to get drafted. The key for him is to make it into the 1st round that way he can get the guaranteed contract otherwise you're better off going undrafted.
Re: NBA Draft
The site that I think you got that from (NBADraft.net), has him going #32 to Toronto. With the #3 overall pick, they have Toronto taking Carmello Anthony from Syracuse. That would give them a crowded group of small forward/shooting guard types, like Vince Carter, Anthony, Morris Peterson, etc. Perhaps it's not the best place for Q to end up.
That list has him going ahead of several players with national reputations:
Kentucky SG Keith Bogans 6-5 213
Boston College PG Troy Bell 6-1 183
Duke SG Dahntay Jones 6-6 210
Maryland PG Steve Blake 6-3 175
Western Kentucky C Chris Marcus 7-1 285
Florida PF Matt Bonner 6-10 237
Notre Dame SG Matt Carroll 6-6 212
Wyoming PF Uche Nswondu-Amadi 6-10 260
Auburn SG Marquis Daniels 6-6 200
Tulsa PF Kevin Johnson 6-8 222
Tennessee PF Ron Slay 6-8 240
Arizona SF Luke Walton 6-8 245

Re: NBA Draft
I may have missed this one earlier, but is Chris Bosh entering the NBA draft? They have him projected as the #4 pick!
Re: NBA Draft
That site always makes assumptions about who is leaving early, and by draft day, even their board looks A LOT different. They also don't take into consideration what a team is in need of.

Re: NBA Draft
Just out of curiosity, I went to NBAdraft.net moments ago to read what they had to say about Quinton. Apparently they have already changed his ranking from #32 mentioned above down to "Honorable Mention" (i.e., beyond #50) with no comments about his credentials, style, etc.
Re: NBA Draft
I don't know what you were looking at but Q is at 32. This is UP about 10 spots from last week. Are you sure you went to nbadraft.net?
Re: NBA Draft
Oh yeah-- they screw up the profiles a lot too. For example, KJ's birthday is actually 12/2/79, not january.
Re: NBA Draft
Sounds like you better send off an urgent e-mail to them. That kind of misinformation must be corrected immediately. lol

Here is the link to the page that I was looking at which indicates it was updated on 3-24-03

Maybe somebody can assist me with a different link.
