Saw him walking on the Boulevard before the game. 6'3" seems about right, but I would have thought he was even more than his listed 295. Very solid-looking young man.

Saw where he was named to ESPN Top 150 list.

Scout says he has offers from "Louisiana" (Louisiana-Lafeyette?) and LaTech. Also lists his weight at 303. Rivals lists offers from Central Arkansas, LaTech, La-Lafette, La-Monroe, Northwestern State, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Miss and Southern.

Tom Lemming rated Ashton 3 stars in his pre-season magazine. SuperPrep rated him in the top 40 for Louisiana in their pre-season mag.
