All I am saying is that they were on the field at the same time and there was not a fight, if that was the result of good planning by SMU then maybe some of the people who predicted a fight might want to admit they were just making a guess/wish.
Horses have a very strong sense of smell. Perhaps the handlers doused themselves in cologne to make sure Peruna could not smell the other horses either?
You are arguing just to argue. I said that they would not let Peruna catch a glimpse of them. I am not sure about the smell, but I would guess that geldings do not give off a strong hormonal scent.
That was very evident in the way that they handled Peruna when he was running up the field in their direction. When they got about 20 yards or so from the endzone, they made sure to steer him away from that part of the field. Even then, he was very well aware of their presence.
That explains all the posts that said "If the horses are on the field then the handlers will have to be very careful with how they handle Peruna." I guess I imagined the many posts that said there would be a horse fight.

All I want to know is, did the deer survive? I'm not going to watch the video.

Yes and no. It got away from the lions by jumping into a pond, but was so badly injured the zoo personnel had to euthanize it.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

You needed to provide a warning on that one. Now, if we just had a video of Peruna with the Fordham ram or the Tech horse, that'd be family viewing.

Maybe our two geldings will go there for the festivities and get set free on the way home as a gesture of good will.

T Boone's trophy wife's website apparently doesn't know that CU is the University of Colorado, NOT Colorado University. Gee whiz, it's not that hard.

Not that important, either.

Since the new mascots appear to be sticking around, and this all started with the idea that June wanted a more powerful mascot, I say we petition June to change his name from a girl's name to something more masculine, like Chuck Norris or Margus Hunt.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
