I like them. They're better than ours. The only problem with ours is the tiny 'SMU' on the shirt. It should be bigger and it looks like it's printed in Arial font or something.

It's not Arial. Arial is a sans-serif font, and those letters are not in a sans-serif font for sure.

i think it is genius because love the uni's or hate them, we are TALKING about them....and so will ESPN, fans, recruits, etc. Marketing like that to coincide with a BCS push is smart too.

Not a big fan of the color purple to begin with, even though my kids high school colors are purple and gold. Why don't they just go back to the classic look of white pants with purple stips down the side and purple jerseys with a purple helmet. Those look awful. And yes the first thing I thought of was Oregon. I know the Frog Nation has more class than the nuts up in the northwest. C'mon Frogs don't sellout for the all might dollar.

Texas doesn't seem to have any trouble recruiting with traditional uniforms. Not only are they traditional, but they are barf inducing burnt orange. Most of the crap Nike is putting out looks like arena ball junk and will not stand the test of time...IMHO.

I agree with this....Uniforms will play a VERY SMALL role in a VERY FEW instances of recruiting, probably even then...it is more of I hate that uniform, I dont want to play there...versus I really like that....

Stick with the classics..remember the Astros and Padres probably thought their Unis looked really cool at the time in the 70s.

Yes they are Bulldogs. And yes that is a good point about Greenwood.
