SURPRISE SIGNEE

Who is the surprise signee besides Smith, Vilde and CCCC Pastevich(sp?) kid who are coming to SMU hoops next season? Ponypride is reporting a surprise signee who will make an immediate impact. Is this just another recruitment services bait n' hook article sample or is there a 4th signee on the way not previsouly expected?

it's not a bait'n'hook, but when you start w/the wrong set of facts, which you have, you may think it is.

PonyDoh, I am confused about my wrong set of facts. Everyone has read and heard the chatter about the 3 names I mentioned so wouldn't that constitute having the facts right. On PonyPride there is "Surprise Signee" all over it. It will be public, in due course, but I am as excited and ready for the good news as the next. That's all. I do appreciate your efforts to keep the record straight.

well, i just don't want to give away their news, but it will come out. you started w/the premise that the 3 names you mentioned were supposed to sign today. that assumption is wrong. two of the 3 were to sign today. the other next year.

well, i just don't want to give away their news, but it will come out. you started w/the premise that the 3 names you mentioned were supposed to sign today. that assumption is wrong. two of the 3 were to sign today. the other next year.

It is pretty obvious who the "surprise" signee is, given that the 2011 commitment is pictured signing a NLI.

Looks like a very good fall class. Probably be a few days before there is an official announcement.

If they have all the paperwork then there shouldn't be a reason to wait. Why not release them as they come in. It eliminates the doubt as to whether everyone is officially on board.
