UTEP game on TV in Houston?

Postby Bobby Savoy » Thu Nov 12, 2009 7:28 pm

Dear Pony Fans,

Will this weekend's game against UTEP be on TV in Houston? If so, where is a popular spot to watch the Mustangs in action?

Thanks.
Oh we see the Varsity,
Varsity, Varsity,
As she towers o'er the hill
Over there.

And our hearts are filled with joy,
SMU, SMU,
Alma Mater, we'll be true
Forever!

For some odd reason, Houstonians think driving from Houston to Dallas is a daunting task whereas Dallasites have no problem jumping in their car and driving to Houston. I've lived in both cities and it just amazes me when I hear a Houstonian say to a Dallasite "You drove all the way down here?"

Dear Bobby Savoy: Leave Houston at 8 a.m. and you'll be here in plenty of time for The Boulevard and the game! See ya at Ford!

Ok so I guess that means the game will not be televised?

We drive up from Houston for most every game. And from Clear Lake to boot (adds about a hour to the trip). No problem, just put it on cruise control, pop in some REK and you're in Dallas in a jiffy. Head back home early Sunday and you still can make the Texans kick-off!

Thanks for the encouragement. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it up for the game. I Know a lot of our games have gotten picked up by random tv stations lately and was hoping to get some help on where to find it. Also Dairy don't rush home too fast this weekend because the Texans are on a bye this week.

Most of the games lately have been online. Check channelsurfing.net. It probably won't be listed until Saturday morning whether or not they will have it. Picture quality isn't the greatest, but it's better than nothing for us out-of-towners. Usually has the radio broadcast of the home team for the sound.
