I graduated from SMU in 1996 and spent 5 years (4 undergrad and 1 GA) working in the athletic recruiting office during the Tom Rossley years. I am not ashamed to say I just cried tonight.

I am so proud of the players and coaches for breaking the cycle. But the funny thing is that I felt every person associated with the SMU football team since 1984 smile when Taylor Thompson sacked the UTEP QB at the end.

This is unreal.

No tears but the feeling is like the return of a long lost friend.

You had to be there expony18. You had to be there to understand the full overwhelming feeling.

I wish I could have been there. I regret not being there in person.

I like the guys standing on the horses after we score. So much better than Peruna

I had to sneak one in. I know it is wrong but I wanted to spook the horses when the guys were standing on them

It was funny, however, to watch the one Mustang eye Peruna everytime he ran down the field after a score.
