Padron stats/splits

Postby newshound » Mon Nov 16, 2009 1:52 pm

He has very good numbers across the board. One oddity ... He is 0-for-2 passing in the red zone (inside the opponents' 20); but 14-for-17, with 5 TD's and 1 INT between the opponents' 21-39-yard lines. Has he really only attempted two passes inside the opponents' 20?

Here are the plays run from the red zone in the past 3 games. Seem to be a couple of plays where Padron scrambled or just situations where we need one or two yards for the touchdown. Encouraging that we have come away with six points in 5 of the last 6 trips to the red zone.

Part of it is simply the length of several of our scoring plays. ES and McNeal had long scoring plays.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Potential is nothing, performance is everything.

Its nice to have a 6'3" kid with a little mobility back there. Really came in handy on that 4th down conversion too!
