darkness/the dawn

Post by bhop »

I attended my first SMU football game this weekend. I can't add anything to what has already been said about the team. The game pretty much speaks for itself.

That being said, while walking to Ford I saw Patrick Simpson and Eric Castro headed to the game. That reminded me, we may well have a solid hoops team this year if everyone stays healthy.

Something to look forward to, I guess.

We have not had two experienced big men with their talent in a long time. Couple them with our explosive backcourt and there is a lot to be optimistic about.

Castro is a workhorse if ever there was one. I love Simpson's talent and potential - I've always thought he could really be a star. And Hopkins showed glimpses (in the games I made, anyway) of the star he's supposed to be.

Who's going to make up for Q's scoring? Can these three add 20 points per game between them?
