Austin High (the one in Austin TX) is known as the Maroons, and have a little Syracuse-Orange like mascot called Mr Maroo. Apparently this wasn't always the case, and in the 40's they had a little dog on the sidelines named Maroona, and he wore a blanket just like our miniature wonder horse Peruna.
