4 game series

Interesting that in the 4 game series Miller was the leading scorer while the 2 freshmen were 2nd and 3rd. Is that good or bad?

I would think that it meant Dement was trying to get the bench, and the new guys more playing time to see how they do. I would guess that the starters didn't have as many minutes as you would expect them to.

I believe Dement gave the non-starters more minutes. I wouldn't be concerned about it.

Man I think that is great that the 4 guys we need to really step up-Pearson, Bennett, Miller and Rack played great in extended minutes. We know what the other guys are capable-I think the trip was a huge success if nothing more than to give these guys some experience and confidence. I'm a lot more optimsistic about this season if we can just get competent play from those 4.

The only disappointment that I see here is that BHop has carried over his torrid shooting of about 25%. Man- I wish he would do something like you guys all say he can. I hate to be negative on this kid but he sure hasn't shown much at the college level. I know he was injured last year but is there an excuse this year?
