CUSA Champs > Than Any Bowl

Postby RE Tycoon » Thu Nov 19, 2009 6:02 pm

I'm personally more excited about the potential to host and win the CUSA Championship than I am about going to Memphis or Hawaii. CUSA is the only Championship we have the opportunity to win and that excites the hell out of me.

Claiming a possible victory in a meaningless bowl, while cool, would not be as satisfying as winning the Conference.

I'm with you R.E. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

YES.

That would do as much for recruiting as any bowl game.

We HAVE to get the linemen - on both sides - for the future of the program.

Add in a couple of receivers as well.

Solid in the linebackers and DB's for the next 3 years.

Pony up!

This would be incredible, especially for students that will be back home for what could potentially be our final home game against Tulane. The chance for a conference championship, and another tailgate : ) would be fantastic, and would probably bring out the crowd of the year.

But of course, lets beat Marashall first!!
