Re: Our Marshall Pre Game PartyUp Date with out the downer LOL
Jamie Oliver (famous English chef) is filming a TV show in front of the Marshal Café today. They have flown in Rascal Flats for a free concert at 2:30 they have the St blocked off with signs that say if you enter the area you consent to being filmed. Let’s party people! I walked to the Stadium this morning it's an 18 min walk Hillbily Hot Dogs is half way there. I sugest the walk from the hotel.
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game Party
Ok you are assigned to lead the singing of "Varsity" after the game! BEAT MARSHALL!!!!!!!
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game Partyyeah sure .... Just found out that the stage is for Video, the band will be in the huge indoor arena about a block away.
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game PartyJust got off the telly with Craig Welch and he reports the weather is perfect in Huntington and the Marshall fans he has come across are some of the nicest away game fans he has ever encountered. Craig said everyone is very friendly. When he was on his morning walk in his SMU red jacket a police car was driving by and hit the siren for a second, rolled down the window and the cop said welcome to Huntington.

Re: Our Marshall Pre Game Partyfor those that are wondering, the Pullman Plaza=thumbs down. Think Best Western. Got here at midnight, bar closed. Remote doesnt work. No minibar. Room furniture is early 80s. Good thing I didnt bring my 10-year old daughter with discerning tastes, or she's likely to have had me drive us back to a Hyatt in Lexington.
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game Party
You forgot to mention the hall looks like the one in the Shining ... Last edited by One Trick Pony on Sat Nov 21, 2009 10:22 am, edited 2 times in total.
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game Partyoh, and most importantly....that "aggressive hospitality" that Hilton and Marriott properties demonstrate...you won't find it here.
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game PartyYou mean like when they left me sitting in the cold for two hours at the airport and kept telling me they were on the way? Bathroom shower plugged up knee high?
They did move me to a nicer room and gave me a $50.00 room credit I didn’t ask for. Other than that I am having great time. Life’s short jump in ![]()
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game PartyHave fun guys, take more pictures!
Re: Our Marshall Pre Game PartyPlease represent SMU with class.
