We start the year talking about 4-5 wins being a good target to shoot for and eek out some close wins to get to 6 wins and everyone starts talking like we're the best team in the conference. We drop one to a more talented Marhsall team, and now the sky is falling! We could easily be at 3 wins at this point.
A loss is never OK, but let's not act like this game was an upset. Half the team is hurt, our best QB is a true freshman who's never started a complete season of football since Jr. High.
We will crush Tulane, we will go to Hawaii and play in our bowl, and we will come back even better next year.

I concur, with the caveat that I only hope we crush Tulane because to state otherwise could be construed as an expectation.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Most of the people here are level-headed and rational. Unfortunately, with a format like this, the other 2% can garner a disproportionate amount of attention.

To me this season has been a complete success. Even if we lose to Tulane, which isn't going to happen, we have exceeded my win total prediction before the season started (5). This is still a very young team that gave up a couple of double digit 4th quarter leads or we might be sitting here with a much better record. We will be a factor in C-USA for the next few years.
