How Many of You Are Going Suicide With Hawaii Bowl?

Although Bowl Bids have not been extended, I'm booked to Hawaii so if this gets screwed up somehow I guess I'll have to drown my sorrows in the warm Pacific Ocean. I think I'll survive one way or the other. Any other Kamikazee Hawaii Bowl confirmed reservations?

Hotel is done. I've been close a few times too.

I believe I'll go ahead and book a flight tonight, unless one of you guys talk me out of it.

Maybe I should do it w/ the trip insurance.

Not sure if "Bowl Selection Committee screwed me" will qualify on your claim...but maybe if you are friends with a doctor?

of course I am. FWIW, a good friend is a doctor retired in Hawaii. I look forward to visiting with him over the holidays. Also interesting to note that he called me about JJ way back when even before we started calling people about JJ.

Apparently from a source at ND. Weis is out, and will play in the Hawaii Bowl against the Ponies!

I'm new to this board but a used to go by 'romo worshiper' on the old site. I'll be there. I work in travel and can help anyone who wants to go get a great deal.

To lower your cost, book air and hotel together as a package, and it helps to have a stop in LAX if you are flying from DFW. The stop in LAX also gives you a breather to eat, and stretch the legs (plus saves you $300 or more).

Example: Travelocity 4 nights -- 23rd - 27th $888/pp double (including taxes) with 1 stop each way in LAX at a 3 star hotel. If you look hard enough, there are promo codes to reduce the price by another $100 or more.

I'm probably going to stay at the Outrigger Reef which is slightly more than what I quoted above. It's ocean front and still a great price.

Shop around, and you can pull this trip off for a very reasonable price.
