Chance against Tech?

Do the Ponies have a chance against Tech? In what will basically be a home game for the Red Raiders. Last night, Tech pounded UMASS 90-50 as they had 19 steals. Bob Knight said his team still needs to play better.

I saw Tech against East Tennessee State last night. Tech looked sloppy and could have been beaten if ETSU would have made any open shots. That being said, Tech has already played three games this season (Davidson, UMass, and ETSU), and is playing in the semis of the pre-season NIT this week. We have played only one regular-season game against a throwaway opponent, and we looked bad. By the time we play Tech, Bobby Knight will have four or five games under his belt. That doesn't bode well for us.

Another thing that scares me is how thin we are at guard. After Isham and Hop, we basically have nothing. If Rack can't go against Tech, then we are a little thin at forward too.

In short, I am not optimistic for a victory over Tech.
