you all can blather on all you want about experienced players blah blah-it will take a healthy Darrius Johnson less than a 2 week opportunity to take that job. He's better than what we got.

Just like how we are going to rue not hiring Todd Dodge? Back off the proclamations Nostradamus. You haven't been so spot on lately.

I have no doubt that DJ will be a great player, but his freshman year he wasnt physically strong enough. Also,Beasley has been playing great since Padron has been the starter..not only as a possesion receiver but has shown the ability to run after the catch and make a few guys miss

DJ is the man. Is is the most talented choice for that slot - particulalry if you are concerned about YAC. Beasley has improved - and is agood choice for coming off the bench.

I think they should toy with beasley for punt returns - he might make do well there since it would highlight his elusiveness (good) vs his reliability catching (not as good).

Beasley has been solid for us this season. DJ is in his first year in an extremely complex offense. People that thought he was going to stroll in as a true freshman and set the world on fire were dreaming. We will see that quantum leap in development next year. BTW, who will be our starting four next year? I'm guessing the following....

Robinson, Wilkerson, DJ, Beasley.

I hope Haynes gets a shot in there too...

wilkerson has been such a massive disappointment this year...i would like to see guinyard and jeremy johnson push for playing time as well.

Has cole loftin been recruited over? From all accounts I have heard, he is extrmeley sure handed. Showed a lot of promise in the TCU game his freshman year before he got hurt. we have a bunch of talented wr recruits in this 2010 class including the two mentioned above and ricky collins.

Disagree. Wilkerson has done what he is supposed to do I think. He should be our 3rd best WR, and he is. And he will improve more next year when he gets more looks. I know the QB should throw to who is open, but you have to think they always have their eye on Sanders (for a good reason)

#1 WR Sanders
Rec 85 YDS 1071 YPR 12.5 TD's 6

#2 WR Robinson
Rec 36 YDS 599 YPR 16.6 TD's 5

#3 WR Wilkerson
Rec 33 YDS 443 YPR 13.4 TD's 4

Look beyond the numbers...look at the drops wilkerson has had in key situations, fumble, and numerous long balls down the sidelines on fly patterns where he quit because he was scared of getting hit.

I'm so used to seeing us drop passes, I very rarely notice who is to blame.

Wilkerson's a good athlete but has very suspect hands. I was hoping they'd improve but they haven't...I'm a little worried too that he's afraid of getting hit
