It would be great if we got it because its a National Spotlight Game-Ron Franklin will announce the game for ESPN-he seemed genuinely excited in the prospect of calling the game. But I think it slipped through our fingers. Plenty of Rice upsets in this series though so who knows.

I agree 100%, but I'm going to be a huge Rice fan come 7pm Saturday. To be honest, I really don't mind "backing into" a conference championship at this point. The way I see it, we will have won more conference games than Houston (if they lose), so we deserve it. Would've been great to have beat Cooger High, though.
