Very eager to see how he bounces back from his first loss as a starter. He seems like an incredibly calm, confident, even-keeled kid. Hope he comes back with his best game yet.

Re: Kyle Padron
The loss shouldn't really have much of an impact on him. It was Tom Mason's "swiss-cheese"defense that lost the Marshal game.................... Peruna is my mascot!
Re: Kyle PadronThat is bush-league. How many games did Mason's defense win this year while the offense struggled? This team has zero depth and the injuries are mounting, especially in the secondary. Both starting corners are done for the year. It was a 3 point game with a 3 point spread on the road against a team with one of the highest home winning percentages in the country.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: Kyle PadronI am just saying tha Kyle did not lose that game last week.............as June said, teams have figured out that if they run right at us, we can't stop them.
Peruna is my mascot!
Re: Kyle Padrontrue the D had its problems, specifically on contain and one on one coverage. That said, the O-line didnt exactly look like Hadrian's Wall. Through all that, we still were in a position to win.
Re: Kyle PadronKelly Turner did a decent job filling in, but Bryce Tennison said yesterday he's "good to go" for the Tulane game.

Re: Kyle Padronthat's good, because I'm of the opinion that our O-line challenges weren't/havent been so much personnel as they have been injuries that make it tough for our guys to be at their best
Re: Kyle PadronI think that the coaches are doing the best that they can with what they have left. We really have limited depth and will continue with that problem until next spring when the new recruits and redshirts will be on the playing list. I think I heard that out of 66 players that played against Marshall, 42 were true freshmen or red shirt freshman. Thats a big hurdle. This looming extra month of practice is huge for the Bowl game as well as for next season.
Padron is fine...he's cool and will bouce back even better than ever. Last edited by ponyscott on Sat Nov 28, 2009 5:09 am, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Kyle PadronBased on everything you read about Padron, I'd bet he bounces back with a nice performance tomorrow.
Go PONIES!
Re: Kyle PadronLoss didn't have much to do with his performance. Not even a issue or topic worth discussing.
Defense needs to figure out how to plug holes and somehow not get tired.
