Excited about the future - a few words from a quiet fan

I've been lurking around here for a while. I've been Hawaii Warrior fan since I was a child. I recently became a SMU fan 2 years ago (the month JJ signed with the Mustangs). Why am I only posting now? I have this feeling that SMU is going to make a comeback this sports world has never seen. I'm excited for you guys, especially with what the program has gone through. I enjoy this forum a lot, I get a kick out of all of your responses, frustrations, and excitements. I especially like it when some you freak out, EG last season. Heck, I even like that ball buster George Patton.

Now with JJ signing an extension for 2 more years the sky's the limit. SMU's location is key to attracting great recruits only Hawaii could dream about. You guys have no idea how exciting this moment is. What he's done for Hawaii is what he's exactly doing here. When SMU goes to the Hawaii bowl it would be like a home game for them. Everyone will be cheering for SMU...JJ has done so much for our state, it's like welcoming home a family member.

He's turning SMU into a contender, now every team has to come prepared, no longer is SMU an easy win..and don't you dare over-look us...we'll punch you right in the mouth.

It's a great time to be a SMU fan...I hope you guys don't mind me hanging around.

Thanks for posting and welcome. I believe you are right about our future. It says a lot about June Jones that he has such loyalty from the Hawaiian people. The same will happen here when he is done.
