I don't know why, but I like Buffalos, and they way CU runs on the field with their Buffalo.

Colorado Buffalo is cool.
Georgia Bulldog is cool, especially when he tried to bite that Auburn receiver.
But the Maryland Terrapin is the best.

YOU MAY THINK THIS IS FUNNY, BUT I LIKE TEXAS A&M KINGSVILLE'S JAVELINA. I THINK THAT IS FITTING CONSIDERING WHERE THE SCHOOL IS LOCATE(THAT IS NOT INTEDED TO CUT DOWN THAT AREA...I REALLY LIKE SOUTH TEXAS). THEY TURN OUT SOME PRETTY GOOD PLAYERS AS WELL.

Wait...My big sister went to St. Louis when I was still a young high school lad and she acquired me a hat with a Billiken on it. I was told it was a fictional animal. It didn't have arms or legs, really...it was kinda like a puffball with big blue eyes and a baseball cap. It had a tail too. I don't think it was a gargoyle. Maybe it was the kiddie version?

A mascot should be fearsome and at the same time represent the region in which the college is located. By these standards, nothing can touch the Longhorn. It is truly a symbol of the state of Texas, plus it could gouge the hell out of you.

My alma mater - the Sun Devils of Arizona State... anyone that's been to Phoenix in July knows how fitting that mascot is. And also, did anyone know that Sparky was the only mascot designed by Walt Disney? Things that make you go hmmmm....

But I hate any mascots relating to cattle.
