RICE Vs Houston

Postby wsamustang » Sat Nov 28, 2009 8:14 pm

Houston scores on the opening kickoff and then holds Rice to a 3 and out, returning the punt to around midfield. Looks like it is going to be a long night for Rice. I don't really have much hope of Rice pulling off an upset. Houston looks good tonight.

Houston up 14-0, absolutely no resistance from Rice, actually converted a fourth and two in the drive, Keenum runs in for a touchdown from the one. 10:10 left in the first quarter.

Wow, Houston just got a pick six, up 21-0 early in the first quarter.

24-0 with 3 minutes left in the first quarter. I think I am going to give up watching this. I am tired of hearing that ridiculous cougar noise every time Houston gains a yard. They can score 100 on Rice tonight if they want to.

45 - 0 in the second. How long ago was Rice's Death Penalty?

they actually went to a bowl game - much more recently than us.

and even though they are having a bad year - their year is still WAY better than either of our last 2 seasons....

Guess what?? That really doesn't make a damn bit of difference cause in the present we're going bowling and they're not. Put the past in the past...GO PONIES.

52-0 first half. I wonder at what point do they find it prudent/appropriate to give Keenum a rest

The 1989 Houston Cougars are having a reunion this weekend. I think the present team is trying to outdo their 95-21 score over S.M.U. from that SWC season.
