The Prime Minister asked about the discus thrower and Couric was clueless (apparently she doesn't read newspapers and magazines frequently).[/quote]

He was extremely complementary of our progress and paritculary of our win today. Wished us best of luck in Hawaii and said that he hoped we would root for TCU in a BCS game.

Out of nowhere...i come across GP of the frogs that i hate...and he is NICE! wtf?

I must give him credit, though...he earned it

He did a very good job over there in frog land, but I have to wonder will this be the year he leaves tcu for greener pastures and bigger payday?

I have a close friend, former SWC football coach, once at SMU, who is a TCU ex and well acquainted with GP. He says that Patterson is a very personable and nice guy off the field.

Patterson's earning power will never be higher than it is right now. I'm sure some of the big boys will approach him with some very attractive offers. I'm not sure what his deal is at TCU, but others will make it costly for TCU to keep him long term. He's got the frogs rolling pretty good. Not sure he could duplicate that success at the BCS level. Not many guys have shown the ability to do that. Urban Meyer immediately comes to mind...but who else?

Patterson is not going anywhere. To cushy of a situation at TCU.

Isn't that what they said about JJ a couple of years ago after he took Hawaii to a BCS game?

Patterson is not having problems with his administration building facilities. Also, if he went to a BCS school he would have to play more that 3 half way decent teams each year.

As I said before, Gary is a class-act. To those on this board that think he'll leave for "bigger money," Gary is in the top 12 highest paid (2.85m inc. incentives) and has said over and over that his salary isn't important, but the assistant coaches' is. In fact, he's alluded that he thinks the amount coaches get paid these days is disgusting considering what the average professor / teacher gets paid.

If he thinks that why did he go interview last year at so that he could get a raise from you guys? If he is so all out disgusted why did he not just keep his regular salary and refuse the raise.

I only want to know if she had her legs on display. Still remember when she had The Donald on the today show couple years back and her skirt was shorter than most coeds wear nowadays. Donald even had to stop down and ask about it. One of the female gusts then spoke up about how beautiful her legs were. I closed my eyes and tried to transport the moment into the p0rn ditch. She has outstanding wheels (or had). Dumber than Palin which is ironic.

He didn't "go interview." He was flat out offered the job.

He used that as an collateral for a raise for his assistants.

Per your second question, he does. Look at his contributions to his foundation. You'll be impressed.

Frogfever,

Point being he still got a raise to 2.85 mil or whatever you claim. Why didn't he just refuse the raise. Maybe he cares more about his own personal foundation than teacher pay huh.

DavidPaul123,

TCU would not have gone undefeated if they had ND's schedule this year.
