I dont see GP making a move this year. Next year, it will depend on the openings, but i think hes gone after next year.

Stoops sounded washy in his answer about coaching searches - "how can i be in 2 places at once?" weird. seemed a little defensive about it. I think he's already packed to move out of norman.

Stoops isn't going anywhere. He is only being diplomatic in case one of his brothers becomes a candidate for the job.

I honestly can't see Patterson going anywhere either, unless he is being offered a Saban-level contract. After turning down a BCS school that was his alma mater just last year, I just don't see it.

I would put money on Skip Holtz ending up at a BCS school in the next few weeks (KU, ND, Louisville, or Cincy or TTU if they open up.)

You heard it here first. GP is staying for another two years. Too much money right now and from a great source.

ND is looking for a defensive minded coach. Definitely Phil Bennett.

I like the Skip Holtz to Cincy (if Brian Kelly leaves) or Louisville since he is already familiar with the general territories.

Reports are surfacing that GP just signed a fat extension (fat money, not an extension to his current fat). It will take a lot for ND or any other school to buy him out now.

Bobby Petrino. He is the ultimate college coach prostitute. He will go wherever the money is. And though Fayetteville is considered heaven on earth to the Beloved Razorbacks’ fans, South Bend is coaching heaven to a college coach.

True. Announcement tomorrow. I think it is a great precedent for all Non AQs that we can be a destination versus a stepping stone like Baylor. Hopefully June stays as well. The I-30 Rivalry will be on. How great would an annual, nationally televised game between two highly ranked opponents be? The sheer amount of super high quality coed a$s walking around would be unprecedented. The game would be great also!

ND just aint what it used to be. Definately a huge step down from Florida.

Nobody wants to play there anymore - especially the skill postions - it just too friggin cold - its too far from anything fun, and the girls are ugly and hairy.

Since they play eskimos most of the year (bad midwestern teams) they think they are better then they are - then they play someone good and get clocked.

No matter what he says as he prepares his team for another SEC title and possibly a 3rd National Championship in 4 years, I would not count out Urban Meyer (who would then be replaced by Charlie Strong). This promises to get interesting

Ever since they fired Lou Holtz, they deserved their fate.
