IPP, do you believe that Coach Jones made a mistake by not playing Padron earlier? I have no way of knowing that....I was not privy to "where Padron was" mentally as far as being able to handle starting....it's not like Bo was just a horrible disaster...I think Bo had us playing 500 ball and very competitive against Washington State and Navy. I don't pretend to be a "genius" and know all the answers....but I do have a lot of faith in the guys (Orsini/Jones) steering our ship....and looking at this year I suppose that faith has been well placed....don't ya think?"See, the thing about your argument is that by saying that Padron gave us a "better chance to win," Can you show me where that was "my argument"?"I know that you believe June is absolutely infallible, so I anxiously await your answer"Wrong again....You don't know what I believe. Exaggerating does not bring more weight to your arguments. I believe June is "infallible" only as a counter-weight to "what an idiot" he is sentiment that sometimes prevailed on this board...blah blah...June is an idiot about Justin Willis, June is trying to get rid of Peruna, June is selfish and wants the Hawaii Bowl at any cost, June shouldn't have run off the dead weight in the off-season, June is here for a paycheck and will run back to Hawaii, June ego's will never let him bench Bo, June is throw happy (Shawnbrey has 1100 punks!)......so yeah I have defended the man who is our coach....wow thats such a reach uh?...defending the coach of the team you love....well I never!

SMU may be going to a bowl, but we are still the same old ponyfans.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Relatively.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Look, I just like to give Stallion a hard time. I know he contributes a great deal to this board, especially for recruiting and I'm thankful for that. However, I don't think its even in question that he has been flat out dead wrong on a many number of things. He is the first to run to the podium when one of his proclamations turns out his way, but when things don't go his way he runs and hides like a [deleted]. In the end its just a message board but some of you who follow his every word like gospel are really sad. He's just a dork behind a computer like the rest of us. Nothing more and nothing less. He doesn't have some secret elixir or formula for winning. Just a guy with a keyboard.
Back off Warchild seriously.

I think we need to call in the God Squad and do a little soul searching. That or have the first annual AS_S Hole of the year awards. Stallion’s only real fault is ego is almost as big as mine.
I think this is a good time to institute the annual AS_S Hole of the year awards for 2009. Now don’t get all upset and insulted this award is coveted by those who have received it.
The first step is to pick 10 finalists and from that group vote for the one you believe is most deserving. And just to prove it’s all in fun I will nominate my self as one of the ten finalists.

You don't have the option of saying "I was right, Stallion was wrong" unless you actually are right. Without making your own prediction, you aren't right. You don't question June Jones because you don't pretend to know as much about football as he does. That's why he's the coach and you aren't. That's perfectly fine. The reasoning falls, therefore, that one should not question another unless one has taken the same action as another (thereby qualifying a questioning opinion). I submit to you that you shouldn't question Stallion's predictions unless you make predictions of your own. By the way, June said that the two "mustangs" were part of his plan of "changing the culture" at SMU in a satellite radio interview. Stop trying to pretend that June didn't ask Mrs. Pickens for the "gift."

And before you say that I am "anti-June Jones" know that I support him in his efforts to win football games. I defended his actions in benching Justin Willis (it was for disciplinary reasons, remember, people?), etc. etc. etc. I also defended the choice of the Hawaii Bowl.
However, I do not support the two new horses being in the endzone, especially after the student body voted against that, because I believe that is immaterial to winning football games.

I nominate GSP. Seems like kind of a curmudgeon.
