They got that call right, some others maybe not, but it went both ways.

It's a shame to see Nebraska tarnished by behavior like this.

Lincoln has been, hands down, the classiest place I have EVER watched a college football game.

The officiating in that game was terrible, but even. Bad calls were made against both teams.

That damn kickoff going out of bounds lost them the game, and that's Bo's fault.

Husker fans will never match the whining to come out of the "we deserve to be treated differently than everyone else" folks in Austin and South Bend.

Bo Pelini's biggest flaw is his temper. It's going to blow up on him if he doesn't watch it. Nebraska could have said it's peace more tactfully than that. We saw a glimpse of Bo in that Alamo Bowl vs Michigan St when he was the interim for Solich and personally got flagged.

I guess Carl took his brother's cue.

I'm going to draw a lot of heat on this board for this, but...

If I'm Tom Osborne, I fire Bo and Carl Pelini. Right now. When an employee represents your school in a negative and unsatisfactory manner, it's worth warning them. However, when they do it in a very public and visible stage, you cut ties. There are acceptable methods to voice your frustrations, but yelling things at the opposing team and trying to pick a fight with a fan in the stands are not acceptable under any circumstances.

Ha! The Omaha reporter will probably get fired once this spreads around the internet

Unlike Texas, the reporters in Nebraska do real reporting and are not required to write sycophantic tripe supporting the home team.

can we tap the brakes just a little bit on the horn lovefest? For a second I thought I was reading a post by Holstein on hornfans.com as opposed to Stallion on pf.com. I for one wouldve loved for Texas to get hosed and listen today to everyone screaming "Texas got screwed!!"

as for the brothers Pelini, I think it would be slightly irresponsible from a fiscal perspective, not to mention job performance perspective, to let them go. To take that a little further, I don't think either school is in a position to say which one is beyond reproach for behavior in the public eye. I hear Austin PD has a special window in the records room for "Longhorn Athletes"

People say things in the heat of battle all the time.

To wit (and gotta love Tarik Glenn here):

The next issue is can you be a classy Cry-baby?

the Big XII needs to be thankful they won't be represented by Nebraska in a BCS game. That's one of the worst offensive teams I've seen play in a championship game in a long time

That's crap. When Osborne was there, those papers were schills for him.
