Again, this is all part of why Texas got to put a second back on the clock. Disaster was about to occur, BCS wise. With the Lawrence kick, the little guys could remain segregated.

It is only fitting that Citigroup should sponsor the BCS Championship. In a world of "too big to fail", this actually makes a lot of sense.

BYU beat OU @ OU
Utah beat Alabama
Boise St. beat OU
Boise St. beat Oregon
TCU beat Clemson
Cincy beat Oregon St.
Utah lost narrowly at Oregon

No one wants any part any part of the non-BCS schools, so Boise-TCU should be exactly what is needed to diffuse the controversy.

Wow! This has to be the worst set of matchups overall in the history of the BCS. Not because of the teams that made it but because they took the cheap way out.

UT/Bama will be be good. I think UT can win if their O-line remembers how to block again.

Cincy/Florida should be a good game. I think it could be a 68 point total.

Iowa/GT just sounds boring to me. Lot of rushing plays, though.

Ohio St./Oregon looks like it could be a good game as well.

TCU/Boise? Really? I think either one of these teams beats Iowa and GT. The BCS really went out of their way to make sure "their" teams don't get embarrassed. What a cop out.
TCU fans should be pissed. I know I will be when we get screwed in our BCS matchup in a few years!

I really wish we were seeing TCU play Florida, at least we could have answered the question of whether or not they can play with the big boys.

The BCS just said to TCU and Boise State, "You two little fellows go play in the backyard while the big boys play each other." Both non-BCS teams should be playing BCS teams IMO.

Before ridiculing the Frogs consider the fact that SMU is also a non-AQ

team and might well be the recipient of the same unjust BCS treatment

in the future. For now, we're all in the same boat.

This is going to get out of hand for the BCS. At some point, I think the fans will demand something other than the BCS.
TCU deserves what they got, due to Patterson. Boise St. does not. If Patterson won't stand up to the BCS maybe Boise St. will. They beat OK a few years back.
They could probably beat Texas. 45%-55% they could beat AL, what do they need to do? I know I'm just B******g, and won't change anything, but this is just kinda wrong. The WAC, MWC play a different type of scheme, less brawn, more agility, faster. Didn't work for UH last yr. but it does work. It probably works better against the SEC and Big Ten.

Uh... that WAC offense didnt work to well for June vs Georgia - SEC is best conference so dont see TCU or Boise doign well there.....would like to see it though.

Patterson and others need to be men and just say what needs to be said. Put us whatever game you choose - but until there is a playoff this is all just a big circle _____.

Nobody is ridiculing TCU. Both TCU and Boise State got a raw deal. This game proves nothing to BCS schools.

Neither did I and anyone who truly considers themselves mustang fans shouldn't either.

I wanted to see them get spanked by Florida.

Also, Georgia Tech would have been a very tough game for them. Remember the game vs Clemson came down to the wire and GT also beat Clemson.

the bcs is not about Championships, only about $$$..tcu getting pasted up in the standings by cincy at the end with cincy's weak win over pitt was a joke. Of course I would take any kind of bcs game too in SMU's future !

TCU will so kill Boise State in this game, so it will prove nothing. TCU is so much more improved and so much better than last year in their win against Boise State so it will not even be fun to watch, and I am NOT a TCU fan for the record....
