Bummer. Sounds like this Friday calls for a memorial double-double.

Although the heated race for #1 burger is still up for grabs (how about a Burger Bowl?), I think Jack's Burger House is, and will always be, the undisputed king of french fries. Love 'em.

Hell, they are all better than Mc burgers! Don't forget to put Ball's into the mix too. And then there is Rose's....hmmmmm the list could be endless.

Ball's is the most overrated burger in Dallas.
Best fries? Toss up between Fuddruckers and 1st and 10.
Best bruger: 1st and 10 - great Mustang atmosphere.

Has anyone ever eaten at the Mustangs' grill on Central Expy? Is it any good?
Rise up, Mustang Nation!
Go SMU!

Oh yes, forgot to mention Snuffer's in both the burger and fries (cheese) catagories.

PerunaPunch and Whatasteve...I think I see a trend developing here. You guys like your burgers fat with juice(grease) running down your arms Image...can't say I don't agree with you two greaseaholics, but alas I have reached that stage in life when I have to watch what I eat (though I don't do a very good job of that). Sounds like we eat at a lot of the same places. I still prefer my Campisi's burger, but then maybe that's because I sit at the bar when I eat there and they take very very good care of me. Hope to meet you guys some day. We can talk food and SMU football!!!

BTW, I agree, Snuffer's cheese fries are very good.

Their cheese fries are great, but Snuffers' burgers suck.
Beer is nice and cold at 1 a.m., though

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

Hit Milo's today with Peruna Punch and some squirrelly lawyer freak. Peruna Punch had been lauding the virtues of the Milo's jalepeño cheeseburger. Don't be fooled. It was OK, but nothing more than OK. Looked like a cafeteria burger, but was dressed up a little and it was dark in that place. Digestable, to be sure, but nothing exceptional.

First & 10 still rules the Dallas burger war.

Whatever Whatasteve. I think we agree on the squirrelly lawyer freak, but that's about it.

In fact, I think YOU kinda look like a dressed up cafeteria burger, although admitedly, it was a bit dark.

Oh mighty Web administrator, the ponyfans demand a burger survey!

So far, I'd rank 'em:

1) Burger House
2) Fudrucker's
3) Snuffer's
4) Milo's
5) First & 10 (although they get major bonus point for quantity and SMU memorabilia).
6) Campisi's

With the bonus points, I'd have to list Frist & 10 near the top, but from a pure taste standpoint it doesn't quite match up.
