Thanks for the heads up. We'll get this fixed ASAP.

To try and help isolate the infection. I noticed on this thread all of my bells and whistles going off on all of my heavily guarded machines.

SI article: Boise State and TCU deserve better

I watched the "Waiting For" box at the bottom left of my Chrome browser while I was loading the board just now. Here are some of the things it brought up:

Waiting for optimized-by.rubiconproject.com
Waiting for b.scorecardresearch.com
Waiting for ad.amgdgt.com

I am not sure if these are legitimate or not, but I wanted to pass this along for you guys.

Those are used for most sites. Google and Yahoo use them for ad placements.

Correct. Rubicon serves our ads.

We've banned that DavidsWorkatHome pop-up, so that should no longer be an issue. We're not seeing any virus issues now on our end. If you get one from one of the ads that's being served PLEASE let me know immediately at [email protected]

Oh, and if you do, please record as much information as possible and pass it on to me -- preferably including what virus notification you had, where you where browsing at the time and what ads were running.

Thanks.

For the safest browsing possible, install NoScript for Firefox...
http://noscript.net/getit

It blocks scripts on pages and you will pretty much NEVER get a virus or spyware unless you specifically choose to allow the script. Most sites don't require you to allow scripts in order to browse through them. You can choose to allow scripts on pages if things aren't working properly.

Or you can update your IE browser and use auto updates for windows if you use it.
