almost convinced myself to go to the local game (Mich St vs Citadel) to see Mrs CP's alma mater in action (MSU) but my loyalty has me glued to channelsurfing.net watching my beloved Ponies.

still hoping they can turn this thing around this year

meanwhile, Citadel is giving Mich St all they can handle, down only 48-45 in 2nd half

Texas State forcing tempo may be the best thing that can happen for SMU; we need to get our guards out and running; lots of open looks so far

For those who made it to the game, are the guys getting better looks from 3 or just hitting the same shots they missed the last 2-3 games? Are they coming out of transition, getting better screens or just shooting better?
10-14 is insane so I'll be curious to see how long this lasts...

McCoy finding shooters in their spots. Great game by Nyakundi thus far. Glad to have him back in the line-up.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

they are playing more up tempo and driving to the basket to create open shots... also, we're making the shots that we should've made in the last few games...
