SMU Men v. Texas StateModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: SMU Men v. Texas StatePatton, no Otis or Luttman tonight, and Papa & Nyakundi fouled out. Been playing obscenely small for 6 minutes.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones
Re: SMU Men v. Texas State
Is that a rhetorical question?
Re: SMU Men v. Texas State15.3 left McCoy to the line
Re: SMU Men v. Texas Stateover and back
Re: SMU Men v. Texas State10.4 94-86
Re: SMU Men v. Texas State3.7 left SMU ball
Re: SMU Men v. Texas State
Why no Otis or Luttman? DNP-CD? Suspensions? Are we at the end of the fall semester and they didn't make grades?
Re: SMU Men v. Texas State94-86 final SMU escapes
Shameful
Re: SMU Men v. Texas StateHalf the Frats on Campus didn't make grades last semester

Knee injuries
Re: SMU Men v. Texas State
both had knee injuries, or so said Rich. We played well in spurts, but could have used a few more bigs “When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. Re: SMU Men v. Texas StateTK should have been in to eat up fouls and would have saved Dia and Nyakundi for at least a few more minutes, but apparently he forgot to fully dress out according to papawasamustang
Re: SMU Men v. Texas StateOK, I'm really interested in this summation by those who tracked this.
Without knowing for what I know -- thanks to those who shed some light -- when you blow a 20-point lead against a SLC team and make it interesting at the end, that's not good. You need to put these people away. I'm sure the small lineup with the fouls didn't help but that's the time where your guards need to value the bb and take care of it. Are we just incapable of playing any kind of style much less learn how to finish? This sounds like the same finish to the NAIA team game. Glad we won but.... ![]() Last edited by George S.
