"One of its environs" could still be a long way away. There aren't any decent sized airports from Victoria to the Valley to San Antonio, are there?

Well he did say he was following a rumor. I hope he chekcs out at 6 feet and not less. Opening a pipeline at a school like Chorpus Christi Carroll would be a very good.

No, but there aren't any decent FBS football players that far out of the city, either. I checked Alice and Kingsville - nothing. If it were the kid from Cuero posted earlier on this thread I would think Reinebold would take the Continental flight into Victoria to get him. Bottom line, find Corpus on a map, draw a 40 mile radius around it, and that's the area that Reinebold has narrowed it down to.

Bonilla was from Carroll if I remember correctly.

my bad, you're right.

And if anyone's ever wondering, why not see how that drive down to Laredo is from San Antonio, scratch it off your list.

True.

Interesting fact about Cotulla, though: Lyndon B. Johnson's first job out of college was as the debate teacher at Cotulla High School.

Macon made some nice plays on the video but I wouldnt say he jumps out at you. That said, D-Lineman dont always jump out like players do at other positions. I guess we'll see.

I am really thinking it's the O-Lineman...following a "rumor" - the OL has no offers which is probably a result of being a big O-Lineman built for pass blocking but playing in a wing-T offense (yes, Gregory Portland runs the "outdated" wing-T and has plenty of success with it as well).

Macon has a legit offer (albeit from Coker's UTSA program) so I'm not sure if that qualifies as a "rumor" anymore.
