CUSA names all-freshman team

DJ surpises me, but as someone pointed out to me elsewhere, JaGared Davis would have made it in my mind (and others over at Rivals). I totally forgot he was a freshman.

I completely agree with being surprised that Davis was left off. It definitely seemed like he had a bigger impact than Reed.

Unfortunately, "kick blocking specialist" is not listed as a position. Haven't looked, but his numbers may not be there to merit making the team as a "defensive end." Not prepared to call the list "ridiculous" as a result.

Nobody spends too much time figuring out All-Freshman-it probably came to a Stat comparison and Reed had slightly better stats:

Reed-56 Tackles(38 unassisted 18 assisted), 4.5 Tackles for Loss, 1 sack
Davis-48 Tackles(23 unassisted 25 assisted), 2.0 Tackles for Loss 2 sacks

Also don't forget that Reed was the hero of the UAB with the game clinching play. Davis had his big game against Tulsa-like to see him dominate more games like he did that day.
