Also, the Four Season or Grand Wailea in Wailea on Maui is awesome. Kauai is nice, but rainy. Go there for hiking in the rain forest, but that's about it. Also on Maui, in Kapalua (and other places) you can go ziplining. AWESOME. PM me if you want more info. Definitely Maui. It is known as the prettiest of islands.
Have to agree on Kapalua. One of the most beautiful and challenging courses I have ever played. You might take a slicker with you. It would rain for about 5 minutes and then the sun would come out and be beautiful and then do it all over again. Worth it though.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

So should we say the meeting area is at the Marriott Pool at 11:00 am Wednesday Morning? I was thinking that I mite rent a large van. What about public transportation???? Can you take the bus over to North shore???? I love the bus it makes me feel like I’m there… I’m flexible for as much or as little activates with out dress up. Cheap or $$$ makes no difference to me.
We are staying at the Marriott as well, so that works. I will check on the buses and see what that looks like. A city employee DD sounds perfect. Let yall know what i find out.

I am down with the bus! Alot of room and no worry about driving if i have a few. I do like Limos though.... http://elitelimohawaii.com/charter.htmlThe hotels charge $30.00 a night to park your over priced rental car over night think about it. $89.00 an hour seats six That's $59.00 a person for 4 hours I got the tip.

I'd vote for Maui. Great golf and snorkeling is good too. Since it is late in Dec, you may find the whales mating off of Maui. I know January is their normal time, but you may get lucky, and it is a sight. Don't let smupony94 and Kate hear about this as it may arouse their native instincts !

The Bus is the best way to see Ohau. If you don't buy a pass, which gives you unlimited access, pay the $2 fare and go around the island. You get one transfer and you can hop off at the North Shore and hop back on the next bus and continue to see the whole island. Catch the Bus in the north side of the Ala Moana Shopping Center.

what are the travel times from say waikiki to north shore, etc by bus? I tried deciphering their time tables without a whole lot of luck
